Warcraft Quits Mobile Gaming?! 😫

🎮 Blizzard gives up on Warcraft mobile due to layoffs

When Blizzard launched Warcraft Rumble in late 2023, its Clash Royale-inspired gameplay with a focus on PvE was actually decently well-received. Its gameplay scored 8 on MiniReview, and the user ratings are 70% positive.

But after Microsoft fired 9,000 employees last week, it was announced that development of Warcraft Rumble would stop completely.

To be fair, the game will remain online (for a while, at least), buuut it will likely quickly die out due to low player numbers and bugs.

So, despite its heavy monetization, it seems Clash Royale just can’t be beaten - even by a franchise as massive as Warcraft. Yeah, I don’t get it either…
