🎮 Roblox game beats PUBG to set new concurrent users record of 8.9m

Since 2018, PUBG has held the record for the game with the highest concurrent users, at 3.2 million players. But last week, that record was beaten by… a Roblox game?

Yes, the Roblox game called “Grow a Garden” has just hit 8.9 million concurrent users. To put that into perspective, that’s more than all the concurrent users of the top 100 Steam games combined, according to GameRant.

But the most impressive part is that the game has been built by a single indie developer and only launched in March this year.

If you’re like me, you rarely ever think of Roblox when you talk about mobile games, but reaching these sorts of numbers is undeniably impressive. They must be doing something right.
